Cherry Blossoms Remembered

Mayor John Tory announced that the city closed High Park to prevent blossom-hugging crowds flocking to the park and spreading COVID-19 virus instead of petals. I raised a metaphorical finger: photo time! A friend took me to see the Sakura that Japan gifted to Toronto over 50 years ago, and I shot many, many photos, a very few I uploaded. Time to digitally dust them off and visit virtually these gnarled, ancient trees with their fragile, pretty blossoms. One a day into May. I hope. Enjoy my Flickr Sakura album!
