Jason Myslicki: A Canadian in Nordic Combined!

Jason Myslicki, Nordic Combined

For several Olympics now, I've had to watch all the ski jumping competitions without a single Canadian to cheer for. But this year, for the first time since 1988, Jason Myslicki is leading a new crop of enthusiastic CANADIAN ski jumpers back into the Olympics. Whoo hoo!

Jason's a senior in this sport, and here he is flying in the Nordic Combined. He was 41st. It doesn't matter because you can't go from no-show for 18 years to a medal. Instead, his placement means Canada has a future.

I enjoy the chance the Olympics gives me to view athletes in sports like yours. I wish your ski jumping team the best of luck for 2010!

Hello Mr. Myslicki...I'm working on a project for Nordic Combined and I was hoping that you could help me out. I'm working on a profile of a Canadian athlete (you) and I was hoping you could tell a bit about yourself (how you grew up, how you got interested in Nordic Combined...that type of stuff) If you could help me out it would be much appreciated.
Myslicki may or may not look at my blog again, but he won't be able to help you out if you don't leave any contact info! I recommend going to http://www.olympic.ca and look under find an athlete for a better way of getting in touch with him. Good luck.
