Teacher Politics and the English Language

I always thought the Brits had common sense, and then their Professional Association of Teachers goes and scotches that reputation by deciding to vote on replacing the word "failing" with "deferred success." Too bad George Orwell isn't around to update his essay Politics and the English Language with this dandy euphemism.
