London Attack

Paul Wells is right: Londoners who have survived the Blitz, WWII deprivation, IRA bombings, are not suddenly going to start cowering in the face of these bombs. What did these murderers think they were going to achieve? Americans are the ones who react in terror. Brits do not. They're a militaristic tough race who've defeated their enemies in every century. They organize and bite back. And they don't curtail their own freedoms in the process. This London blogger curses it succinctly. And this American blog scans what other Londoners experienced. Of course, I'm not surprised that after facing death in the tube, they pack the pubs. I wonder what Canadians would do.
