What our National Opinion Leaders want in a Prime Minister

Again on Stephen Harper, Paul Wells opines on what our nation's opinion leaders find important.

" is entirely impossible to be bland enough to please the nation's opinion leaders, in this case a bored weekend Globe online editor."

I'd like to add that what they really want our Prime Ministerial candidates to be is male, European descent, a lawyer, attractive to cameras, and Liberal. As hard as it is for a Westerner to become Prime Minister, it would be impossible for a Torontonian.
